A collaboration with Robert from Monkeymind.
Today I sat down with Robert and we chatted about Nutrition and Mental health and how we can work together to assist our clients.
Some of the things we chatted about:
Plant-based diet vs a standard diet
What a high-carb / Low-fat diet is and how it can help with mental well-being
Why you really need a nutritionist
Why mental health is so important
What to look out for when it's time to look for help
Online counselling vs face-to-face therapy
The best ways to improve mental well-being
Robert has written a blog about food and mood. You can read it here.
A plant-based diet that is made up of fresh fruit and vegetables and some greens is definitely the way to go to avoid or reduce the effects of lifestyle diseases like Obesity, Type 2 diabetes and heart disease. It also vastly improves your digestion and nutrition intake, which in turn offers many benefits including: more energy, clearer mind and better sleep quality.
You may already know what you need to do to get back on track or you may have no clue where to start. I am here to help you every step of the way.
My motivation, is your success.
Your health (and that of your family), should be your number one focus - especially if you have health issues.
As a nutritionist, I want to make a difference in peoples' lives. Everyone deserves the best health.
